As part of the MSU College of Music, the Community Music School (CMS) provides music education and music therapy to the community. In 2012, Moore Trosper created a new location for the Community Music School by renovating a church. The project included completing new soundproof rooms and installing a new fire alarm system, and also addressed existing roof leaks and mechanical issues. Church staff occupied the space throughout the renovation.
